About Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)-2025] The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Scores will be used for admission into UG Programmes in all Central Universities/ Participating Universities for Academic session 2025-26.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas, and help establish better connections with the Universities.
A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the 12 the letters/e-mails/grievances/queries/RTI applications/Court cases pertaining to admission related matters/procedures will not be entertained by NTA.
The same may be addressed to the concerned University admissions process to various Central Universities. The list of Central Universities/Participating Universities may be seen at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/
Classroom Course & Live Recorded Class
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), earlier known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test is an all-India test being organized by National Testing Agency for admission to various undergraduate in 45 Central Universities of India and 45+ State Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Universities. we saw approximately 15 lakh students applying for different UG courses across all the universities under CUET.
Central Univ. means Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University, Indira Gandhi National Open University, University of Hyderabad, Aligarh Muslim University, Central University of South Bihar and more.
CUET consist of the following four sections.
Total subjects - 37 (13 languages + 23 domain-specific subjects + 01 General Aptitude Test).
- Section I – 13 Languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu)
Syllabus Language Subjects: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary, and Narrative), Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary

General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/ mensuration/ statistics), General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Logical and Analytical Reasoning
Note:-
- Choice of Test Paper:- Candidates may choose upto a maximum of five (05) subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test irrespective of the subjects opted in class XII.
- Marking Scheme Correct Answer:- 05 marks (Five) There will be negative marking for each incorrect answer of 01 (one) mark.
- Mode of the Exam:- Computer Based Test (CBT) mode
- Total Questions:- 50 questions for each test papers. All questions are compulsory.
- Duration:- Duration for each test paper would be 60 minutes.
