About CAT: Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the premier Management Entrance exams. It is conducted by the IIMs. Prestigious IIMs are considered to be one of the Best Institutes in India to pursue an MBA. As of now there are 20 IIMs in India located in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Indore, Shillong, Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Tiriuchirappalli, Udaipur, Kashipur, Bodh Gaya, Amritsar, Vishakhapatnam, Sambalpur, Sirmaur, Nagpur and Jammu. Apart from the IIMs, there are several other Top B schools as well in India like MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI Manipal etc. who accept CAT scores for admission. More than 2 Lakhs students take the CAT test every year for admission in IIMs which has 1500+ seats and in the other Top colleges which has around 2000 seats.
